We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, operational, and strategic Manager – Human Resources to lead and oversee all HR functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing HR strategies, leading talent acquisition, driving employee engagement, fostering a positive organizational culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry regulations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape and implement HR practices to support the company's growth, talent development, and organizational objectives.
This position is Dallas-based and can be hybrid.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead the HR department (~100 FTE’s), providing direction and support to HR staff and stakeholders across the organization.
Develop and implement the organization’s HR strategy aligned with business goals and company values.
Work with leadership to define and promote the company’s culture, values, and mission.
Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, advising on HR matters to drive the company’s overall success.
Act as the primary point of contact for senior management on all HR-related issues.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
Oversee and enhance the talent acquisition strategy, including recruitment, onboarding.
Work with department leaders to identify hiring needs and ensure an efficient and effective recruitment process.
Develop and ensure effective use of employee referral program.
Foster relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and talent networks.
Employee Development & Engagement:
Develop and implement programs to support employee growth, performance management, and career progression resulting in above benchmark employee retention.
Design and promote employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and ensure high levels of employee satisfaction.
Oversee the implementation of training and development programs to build skills and leadership capabilities across the organization.
Administer regular cadence of employee feedback to ensure strong employee engagement and address areas of opportunity.
Compensation & Benefits:
Manage and review the compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness.
Provide strategic input into salary benchmarking and incentive plans.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, life and disability insurance, and other employee benefits.
Manage the open enrollment process for health and welfare benefits, providing communication, guidance, and support to employees.
Ensure that compensation and benefits programs are compliant with legal requirements and market trends.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Oversee employee relations and work with outside employment counsel of complex employee issues or disputes.
Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that promote a fair, inclusive, and legally compliant work environment.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, and manage audits as required.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness:
Drive organizational change initiatives and support the company through periods of growth or transformation.
HR Technology & Analytics:
Oversee the management and optimization of HR systems, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with company needs.
Evaluate and implement new HR technology and tools to improve processes and data accuracy.
Use data and analytics to evaluate HR initiatives, assess employee satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Location:
This position is Dallas-based and can be hybrid.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year managing a team.
Proven track record of managing all facets of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in leading change management initiatives and working with senior leadership teams.
Acquisition-related experience preferred.
